Recycling Collector Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a number of Waste Removal Operatives to join our team at Biffa Waste Services. As a Waste Removal Operative, you will be responsible for collecting waste and recycling as directed, in accordance with the contract specification.
This is a hands-on role that requires excellent teamwork skills, as you will be working as part of a team to remove all waste from designated collection points and returning containers where necessary. You will also be required to work with minimal supervision, ensuring that all waste not presented for collection at the appropriate point is recorded and reported.
Additional responsibilities include completing additional work and missed bins, loading waste correctly and safely, and clearing up any spillages immediately. Health and safety is paramount in this role, and you will be required to adhere to legal requirements and the company's health and safety rules and procedures.
This role offers a great opportunity for progression to become an LGV Class 2 driver, and we are looking for someone who is motivated, hardworking, and committed to delivering excellent results.
