Job Title: Graduate Building Surveyor

A leading construction consultancy is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Building Surveyor to join their expanding team in Birmingham. The company provides a comprehensive range of Building Surveying services to clients nationwide and is currently experiencing a period of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of building surveying services, including contract administration, dilapidations, and party wall matters.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of client briefs and project delivery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • Relevant construction degree in Building Surveying and working towards final assessment with RICS or recently completed APC.
  • Working knowledge of building surveying services, including contract administration, dilapidations, and party wall matters.
  • Experience or understanding in delivering core building surveying services, such as contract administration, dilapidations, and party wall matters.

Desirable Skills:

  • Awareness of the Principal Designer role.
  • Design experience using AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of NEC Contracts (Option C).
  • Project cost control.
