Sue Ross Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled professional to support the EMEA region in its general accounting tasks.

This role contributes to the development and maintenance of procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness, and provides support to Finance Managers as required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage cash receipts and post them daily onto an internal system.
  2. Assist in the Trust Accounting process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Reconcile bank accounts on a weekly basis to prevent any discrepancies.
  4. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations to provide a clear picture of the company's financial situation.
  5. Contribute to month-end processes, including creating and posting month-end journals to close out accounts.
  6. Provide administrative support to the finance team.
Required Skills
  1. A background in general accounting and financial operations is ideal.
  2. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential to maintain accurate records.
  3. AAT or similar qualifications are preferable, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles.
  4. Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, are necessary to manage and analyse financial data.

The estimated salary for this position is £40,500 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
