We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Milesian Manor Care Home in Magherafelt. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centred care to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Support the nursing team in providing care and assistance to residents, as needed.
- Participate in activities and events that enrich the lives of residents, promoting social interaction and engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient care delivery process.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative, as needed.
- Good standard of written and spoken English.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
