About the Role
As a Senior Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and care to individuals with co-occurring mental illness and intellectual or neurodevelopmental disabilities at Spinner Medical Recruitment in Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Supervise and educate junior doctors, registrars, and other healthcare professionals, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
- Collaborate with various teams across the metropolitan health service to enhance care for people with intellectual and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research projects, driving positive change.
Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience in Psychiatry, particularly in intellectual disability and neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with a strong ability to build relationships.
- A genuine commitment to supporting both patients and their families/carers.
- Willingness to participate in education activities and share expertise.
- Experience in clinical governance and leadership.
