About the Role

As a Senior Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and care to individuals with co-occurring mental illness and intellectual or neurodevelopmental disabilities at Spinner Medical Recruitment in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Supervise and educate junior doctors, registrars, and other healthcare professionals, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the metropolitan health service to enhance care for people with intellectual and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research projects, driving positive change.

Selection Criteria:

  • Proven experience in Psychiatry, particularly in intellectual disability and neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with a strong ability to build relationships.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting both patients and their families/carers.
  • Willingness to participate in education activities and share expertise.
  • Experience in clinical governance and leadership.
