About the Role

As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker, you will work closely with our team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children and young people in our care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the children and young people with their physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Preparing and assisting the children and young people to fulfill the aims of their person-centered plan
  • Working closely with the team to develop life skills and promote independence
  • Providing a safe and supportive environment for the children and young people
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A QCF level 3/4 in Children, Young People, and Families Practitioner qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience in keyworking with vulnerable children and young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures
