About the Role

Lavazza Professional UK is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their vending machines are always in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain vending machines at customer sites, providing training and building strong relationships
  • Proactively maintain and repair our machine base to the highest standards
  • Decommission machines that require movement and reinstall them when the customer is ready
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and regulations
  • Meet core operational objectives and drive account profitability
  • Manage customer and business demand in your territory, working with your team to meet regional KPIs
  • Travel to support other areas and regions as needed, staying overnight if required for training, operational, or business needs
  • Accurately manage spares to minimize costs and eliminate stock-outs
  • Take ownership of local problems, resolving them to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to a team environment, attending meetings and supporting projects for efficiency gains
Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent passes in Maths, English, and Science (formal qualification in electrical or electromechanical field preferred)
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, dealing with issues and complaints effectively
  • Technical or mechanical experience, with fault-finding and repair skills
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence to upsell and provide recommendations
  • Ability to work remotely, prioritizing based on customer and business demand with limited supervision
  • Full UK driving license
