Job Description

The role of Marketing Manager - UK involves leading the development and implementation of the regional marketing strategy to drive lead generation and retention targets. This includes undertaking research on customers, markets, and competitors, and identifying potential areas to invest in. The successful candidate will be a champion for the region, representing its interests at internal and external stakeholder meetings, and working with third-party agencies to bring the strategy to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the regional marketing strategy to deliver regional lead generation and retention targets.
  • Undertake research on customers, markets, and competitors, and identify potential areas to invest in.
  • Be a champion for the region, representing its interests at internal and external stakeholder meetings.
  • Work with third-party agencies to bring the strategy to life.
  • Manage the regional marketing budgets, in line with organisational policy and procedures.
  • Develop relationships with partners, influencers, trade media, and industry associations, and build and maintain a database of contacts to leverage relevant opportunities for CDE.
  • Oversee and implement the planning and evaluation of all marcomms for the market, in conjunction with in-house and external agency support.
  • Oversee and implement all regional comms and content development for owned digital channels, in conjunction with Digital Marketing.
  • Define marketing collateral requirements, manage production, and oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all CDE's attendance and speaking opportunities at external events.
  • Oversee the management of accurate databases for customers and prospects, using company systems, and support other business functions in their execution of this.
  • Supervise information gathering or the compilation of statistics pertinent to the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing plans, refining and adjusting activities as required.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, outlining progress against Marketing and Business Development KPIs.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a highly organised, methodical, and focused individual who is passionate about lead generation and relationship development with prospects, customers, influencers, and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies, and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • More than 3 years marketing experience at Marketing Manager level in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Demonstrable experience marketing in or to the UKI region.
  • Demonstrable experience developing, implementing, managing, and evaluating best-in-class through-the-line marketing strategies on a number of projects running simultaneously.
  • Demonstrable lead generation experience.
  • Hold a relevant business or marketing qualification, or a business-related discipline.
