About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled European Finance Director to join our team at Super Smart Service. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading and managing our European finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and leadership to the European finance team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the European region, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  3. Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the company's headquarters, including monthly closings, financial analysis, and performance reporting.
  4. Financial Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws, regulations, and company policies, identifying and mitigating financial risks.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including management, departments, and external partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  1. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  2. Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  3. Skills: Strong financial knowledge, analytical skills, and leadership abilities, with proficiency in accounting software and office applications.
  4. Language: Fluency in English, with proficiency in German, French, or other European languages a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Industry Experience: Experience in multinational or group companies, logistics, or e-commerce industries.
  2. Professional Certifications: Relevant professional certifications, such as CPA or CMA.
