Hexagon Care Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at The Nook Children's Home in Colne. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support and care to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe, supportive, and inclusive living environment.
- Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, to ensure 24/7 care and support.
- Experience working with children or young people in a care setting (advantageous but not essential).
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with colleagues, young people, and families.
- Capacity to manage challenging behaviors and provide emotional support to young people.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins, and adapt to changing circumstances.
