Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our Adult Mental Health Team (AMHT). This is a key role that will provide essential administrative support to our clinicians and help us deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide clerical support to named Consultant Psychiatrists and the AMHT, ensuring that all appointments are appropriately prepared for and electronically captured.
  • To provide high-level IT skills to produce quality documentation using Microsoft software and adopting the Trust's corporate standards and style.
  • To receive and open referrals within agreed timeframes and update the internal audit spreadsheet FACT board.
  • To assist in the maintenance of the team's FACT boards during daily team meetings.
  • To answer the AMHT's main telephone line and process enquiries in a professional manner.
  • To liaise with patients to book and confirm attendance at both face-to-face and digital appointments.
  • To check patient demographics and update information held to ensure high standards of data quality.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and organisational skills, who is able to work autonomously and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
