Job Summary
Venture Search is seeking a highly skilled Quant Researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of our high-performing delta 1 platform. As a Quant Researcher, you will play a crucial role in researching and enhancing QIS trading strategies, as well as identifying monetizable alpha and constructing portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research to identify opportunities for enhancing QIS trading strategies
- Collaborate with the trading team to develop and implement new trading strategies
- Build and maintain 3rd party risk models to ensure portfolio stability
- Work closely with the development team to integrate new strategies into our market-leading technology stack
Requirements
- PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science
- Extensive experience in equity market neutral quant portfolio construction
- Excellent programming skills, particularly in Python
- Strong understanding of alpha generation and portfolio construction
