As an experienced SHEQ Manager, you will report to the MD and collaborate closely with the Leadership team to ensure comprehensive health, safety, and environmental practices are identified, documented, and aligned with the company's activities. Your role involves ensuring these practices are understood and complied with throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct worksite Health, Safety, and Environment Compliance audits to guarantee adherence to regulations.
- Develop RAMS, safe systems of work, and associated project-related risk management documentation, including general, manual handling, COSHH, fire prevention, and other essential protocols.
- Lead accident and incident investigations using root cause analysis and provide recommendations for effective preventative measures to mitigate risks.
- Perform occupational health and safety-related surveys, such as noise, lighting, exposure to chemical substances, and other relevant assessments.
- Participate in project start-up meetings, customer reviews, and operations-board meetings.
This role requires 5 years of experience in a full-time Health, Safety & Environmental role, along with a NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, Level 5/6 qualification in Health and Safety, CDM-related qualification (SMSTS), and proficiency in all MS Office applications.
The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a company car for site visits. This is an excellent opportunity to join Baseline Recruit Ltd as a dedicated Electrical Safety Specialist and contribute to the company's success.
