Senior Electrical Control Systems Specialist

Mason James Appointments (UK) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Control Systems Specialist to join our team in the UK. As a key member of the Control & Automation Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing electrical control systems, ensuring they meet client needs and company quality standards.
About the Role:- Design, implement, and manage electrical control systems, including the development of PLC I/O lists, electrical schematics, terminal lists, and cable schedules.
- Collaborate with electrical and automation engineering teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct site surveys, create specifications for procurement, and oversee the selection and installation of electrical components.
- Supervise electrical installation subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards, project timelines, and health and safety regulations.
- Support commissioning activities, including dry and wet testing, and provide final project documentation.
- Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- PLC Programming knowledge and experience designing, installing and commissioning control panels.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK and internationally.
We offer a competitive salary of £75,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with excellent benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
