Job Title: Apprentice Hydraulic Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Hydraulic Engineer to join our team at The Crane Centre.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of lorry loader cranes to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults on cranes, hydraulic, and electrical systems, utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Install new cranes onto new and used chassis, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new installations to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their queries and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of work completed, adhering to company standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical understanding of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and customers.
  • Dependability and reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments.
