About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Introduction Engineer to join our team in Hunmanby, North Yorkshire. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in introducing new designs from both internal and external sources into our production facility.

Your primary responsibility will be to work on a variety of tasks that include reviewing designs for production suitability, working with external entities to make improvements, and ensuring seamless transitions of external designs to our in-house production facility.

Key Skills:

  • Basic understanding of electronic components and circuit theory
  • Experience with analogue and digital Hardware design
  • Familiarity with EMC Principles
  • Knowledge of stage gated / agile development approaches
  • ERP systems with MRP modules
  • Good understanding of SMT, PTH components and PCB assembly process
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and BOM structures
  • Ability to read and translate Schematic capture software
  • Experience with Altium
