Job Purpose:

To ensure that guests' bedrooms, corridors, and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and quality, reflecting the values of Titanic Hotel Belfast.

Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks:

  • To clean allocated departure and occupied rooms to the hotel's exacting standards, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Carry out scheduled deep cleaning programs to maintain the hotel's exceptional standards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and stock levels of housekeeping trolleys, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of storeroom areas and equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • To promptly address and resolve guest requests, providing exceptional customer service.
  • To report all lost and found items, ensuring accurate recording and prompt return to guests.
  • Report maintenance defects to the Housekeeping Manager, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing disruptions.
  • Report sub-standard linen to the Housekeeping Manager, maintaining the hotel's high standards.
  • Receive linen deliveries and deliver to stores across the hotel, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • In accordance with your Supervisor, adhere to the Job of the Day, ensuring a focus on key tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ensure corridors and stairways are cleaned after completing allocated rooms, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all departments in the hotel, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • To attend all relevant training as and when required, ensuring ongoing professional development and expertise.
  • To demonstrate a willingness to take on additional responsibilities when necessary, showcasing adaptability and a proactive approach.
  • Familiarize yourself with our Core Values, TITANIC, which underpin the desired behaviors expected of all employees, including those in this role.
  • To have a thorough knowledge of and adherence to the law regarding company regulations, including fire regulations, health and safety regulations, and first aid procedures.
  • To ensure compliance with the company dress code, maintaining a professional and respectful image at all times.
  • To undertake special duties or work outside the normal daily/weekly routine, but within the overall scope of the position, at the request of your Supervisor/Line Manager.
