About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Asset Inspector to join our team at SSE Enterprise.

As an Asset Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting statutory surveying and inspection of the overhead and underground network to ensure compliance with Environmental Safety Quality and Continuity Regulations (ESQC Regulations).

You will work independently and as part of a team to inspect the network, plan your work to meet targets, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting the overhead line network within our Distribution area
  • Planning your work to meet targets
  • Delivering a great customer service experience
  • Committing to working safely and completing risk assessments
  • Improving productivity by finding and implementing business improvements

Requirements include:

  • A willingness to travel and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • The ability to work independently in remote locations
  • Competent IT skills for data recording
  • Ability to read maps and drawings related to our network
