About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a SEN Secondary School in Sale.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students with ASC, providing individualized support and promoting their social, academic, and emotional development.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEN and be comfortable managing behavioral outbursts.

You will work alongside the class teacher and other SEN Teaching Assistants to create a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.

This is a temp to perm role, with the opportunity to move onto a permanent school contract after a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with ASC
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery
  • Manage behavioral outbursts and promote positive behavior
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other SEN Teaching Assistants

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Comfortable managing behavioral outbursts
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other SEN Teaching Assistants
  • Valid enhanced DBS check
