The main responsibilities of the Acoustic Consultant include:

  • Conducting noise and sound insulation testing
  • Providing actionable recommendations to clients on how to address any issues identified during the tests
  • Preparing technical reports outlining all key issues and methods to resolve them

The successful candidate will have a BSc or MSc in Acoustical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. Previous experience in acoustics is essential, specifically conducting noise and sound insulation testing. Familiarity with modelling software such as ODEON or CadNA is also required.

The estimated salary for this role is £38,500 per annum, which is competitive and reflects the expertise required for this position. The location is Derbyshire, and the company offers flexible working conditions, a generous company pension, and life assurance.
