Job Overview

As a key member of the Mitie team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service across all service lines, ensuring that client requirements are met and exceeded. This will involve working closely with clients to engineer strategic delivery of services, driving lean, compliant, and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage direct reports to ensure all works are carried out within current codes of practice and meet high standards.
  • Effective communication with the site and business is crucial, including presentations and governance meetings.
  • Liaise daily with clients on performance, compliance, EHS, quality control, and operational risk.
  • Implement a continuous improvement plan to offset inflation and achieve glidepath savings.
  • Manage and deliver OGSP objectives, identifying growth opportunities that align with the client's strategy.
  • Drive the team on continuous improvements to enhance service levels while maintaining cost control.
  • Manage facilities to meet and maintain required GMP standards.

Requirements:

  • Relevant GMP awareness and knowledge.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Health and safety awareness and knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration technical qualifications and relevant experience.
  • A highly focused individual with strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent understanding of statutory requirements in a technical environment.
  • Experience of working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft products and Power Bi.
  • IOSH Managing safely certification.
  • Ability to manage and develop a team to provide a quality service.
