About the Role

Prospero Teaching Careers is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to join our team as a Primary School Special Educational Needs (SEN) Class Teacher in Vauxhall, South London.

School Overview

The school caters for children with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and additional associated Learning Difficulties, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality lessons to Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils, addressing significant gaps in knowledge and understanding. Collaborate with teaching assistants to provide tailored support and engage students with complex social and behavioral needs.

Requirements
  • QTS and experience teaching at KS1 and/or KS2
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Experience working with students with special needs and challenging behavior
  • Excellent behavior management skills and adaptability
Benefits

Paid to scale (£28,000 - £41,000), permanent contract, and a calm, patient working environment.
