Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead the mechanical design of microcontroller-based power electronics products, utilizing your expertise in CAD software. You will develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks, ensuring precision and functionality. Additionally, you will design mechanical components and assemblies for automated test and inspection machines, robotics, and production processes. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and the Innovation team, will ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs with electronic and software systems. Furthermore, you will define and implement test strategies for mechanical components, ensuring compliance with functional and safety requirements.

Requirements:

An HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related discipline. Extensive experience in mechanical design with a strong emphasis on CAD, particularly SolidWorks. Proficiency in designing and testing mechanical systems for electronics products, including knowledge of machine safety protocols. Experience with additional CAD and design tools is a plus. Ability to work closely with software engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electronic systems.
