Job Title: Personal Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Personal Tax Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a Personal Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal tax clients with diligence and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients with expertise and diligence.
  • Handling all compliance matters efficiently.
  • Preparing personal tax returns within your designated portfolio.
  • Crafting forms P11D and offering ad-hoc taxation advice to clients.
  • Engaging in consultancy projects within the department, collaborating with tax Partners on tasks such as share restructuring, EIS/SEIS, EMI's, and other project-based endeavors.
  • Representing clients in dealings with HM Revenue & Customs, including handling inquiries.

Requirements:

  • ATT or CTA qualification would be ideal but similar qualifications or qualified by experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in personal tax, within a firm of chartered accountants.
  • Experience looking after a portfolio of personal tax clients.
  • A robust understanding of personal tax principles and extensive experience in the field.
  • Familiarity with basic international tax issues like domicile, remittance basis, and residency.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
