This is an exciting opportunity to join Greene King as a Consumer PR Manager. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's communications strategy and delivering engaging PR campaigns that drive results.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced PR professional who can develop and implement effective PR strategies that meet our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the consumer PR landscape and be able to think creatively to achieve high-impact national coverage.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in consumer PR roles
  • Proven track record of delivering successful PR campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including:

Job Responsibilities

As a Consumer PR Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive PR strategy for Greene King
  • Working closely with the Social Media & PR Lead to manage an external agency
  • Drafting and overseeing the output of press materials
  • Aligning proactive communications with the overall communications plan
  • Playing a key role in the Press Office 24/7 function, providing reactive media statements and strategic guidance during business issues/crisis
