About the Role

The OSB Group is seeking a highly skilled Team Leader to manage the Broker Liaison Team based in the Chatham office. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing effective leadership, support, and motivation to the team, ensuring they achieve their strategic objectives and deliver a high level of customer service to our mortgage intermediaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide line management, coaching, and development to direct reports, including performance management, appraisals, and recruitment.
  • Monitor and manage workflow queues, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Deputise for the Broker Liaison Team Manager as required.
  • Be the escalation point for technical queries, broker dissatisfaction, and take escalated calls from the Senior Coordinator.
  • Embed the company's values and behaviours throughout the team.

Requirements

  • Previous line management experience is essential.
  • Previous experience within the financial industry, particularly in contact centre roles.
  • Advanced skills in communication, customer service, and decision-making.
  • A high level of attention to detail and ability to learn new processes and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA and relevant regulations.
