Swim Team Leader Job Description

At Sporting House, we're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our swimming team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the safe provision of our Learn to Swim programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the safety of our swimming lesson provision and deliver lifesaving and first aid provision.
  • Deliver high-quality, themed Learn to Swim lessons to children and adults.
  • Provide exceptional customer care to every swimmer and family member in and out of the water.
  • Ensure the safe provision of all equipment usage, storage, cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Complete and record electronically all relevant health and safety checks as assigned by the Swim Manager.
  • Help maintain the facility to a high standard at all times by ensuring the centre is clean and safe for all users and staff.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to personal development through training, observation, and feedback on performance.
  • Be a positive role model for young people, encouraging them to reach their full swimming potential.
  • Deliver the Swim experience, including servicing customer inquiries, showing potential customers around the centre, driving memberships, and attending regular training with the Swim team.

  • Reasonable swimming ability.
