About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at the Financial Ombudsman Service. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based applications using Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement software solutions using C# and.NET development frameworks.
  • Work with our team to design and implement business process automation and user experience solutions.
  • Configure and manage Azure services, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
  • Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure the smooth operation of our applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with Azure Service Bus or NServiceBus, and a strong understanding of message queuing and integration patterns.
  • Proficiency in C# and.NET development, with experience in developing and deploying cloud-based applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
