We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Omnia Foundation, a unique school for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with autism spectrum disorder and other special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide learning activities for students under the professional direction and supervision of a qualified teacher
  • Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities and assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment

Requirements

  • Demonstrate an empathy and commitment to supporting young people with special educational needs
  • Possess previous experience of teaching/supporting learning
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification in both maths and English or be willing to work towards these qualifications
  • Hold or be prepared to work towards a Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Hold a current, clean UK driving licence and be willing to drive on behalf of the Foundation
