About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team at IRIS -Networx Services. As a key member of our crisis intervention service, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet, assess, and provide person-centered support to individuals accessing our service
  • Record and maintain accurate client records, including risk assessments and safety plans
  • Effectively de-escalate challenging situations, adhering to lone working and safeguarding policies
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of partner agencies and additional services to support individuals in the community
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment, identifying and mitigating potential risks
  • Work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and organizational policies
About You

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for working in mental health services. You will have clear verbal and written communication skills, good IT and keyboard skills, and a polite, assertive manner. Knowledge of Mental Health First Aid and an interest in mental health, homelessness, and related issues are also essential.
