About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Bridge House, Kemsley, Kent. As a Support Worker, you will be part of a team of 11 carers providing 24-hour support to 5 adults with learning difficulties.
Our team assists service users with their daily activities, enabling them to lead fulfilling and independent lives. You will support them with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, planning their day, and exploring local amenities and attractions. Additionally, you will provide emotional support, helping individuals with relationship matters, future planning, personal budgeting, and job searching.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- Competent in written English
- Basic numeracy skills
- Driven and enthusiastic
Working Hours
The Support Worker role is full-time at 37.5 hours per week with shifts. You will be required to work a mix of early and late shifts, some weekends, and some bank holidays. This is not an overnight role. Early and late shift times are as follows:
- Early: 7:30am to 3pm
- Late: 2:30pm to 10pm
