About the Role:

As a Senior Quantitative Finance Analyst at WSD, you will be responsible for managing Jira boards, drafting and refining tickets, and supporting developers in understanding the detailed implementation of requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, focusing on quantitative analysis, technology, market data, and structured products. They will work closely with the Product Owner to ensure that requirements are understood, clarified, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft detailed user stories, tickets, and technical specifications for developers, focusing on the implementation of structured products, market data integration, and financial technology solutions.
  • Assist in the investigation and research of complex financial concepts, ensuring thorough understanding and clarity for the development team.
  • Participate in industry forums and working groups, capturing insights and translating outcomes into concrete, executable tasks.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product management, and the development team to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Assist in the testing and validation of delivered features, ensuring they meet business requirements and are aligned with industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Finance, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a business analyst role, ideally within banking, asset management, or other financial services environments (buy-side or sell-side).
  • Solid understanding of structured products, market data, and financial instruments.
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience working closely with developers on technical implementation.
  • Familiarity with Jira for task management, project tracking, and reporting.
  • Ability to comprehend and translate complex financial concepts and discussions into actionable development tasks.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annumAbout WSD:
