Quantitative Researcher Opportunity in Systematic Macro Trading

Eka Finance is seeking a skilled quantitative researcher to join their team in London, working on alpha generating strategies in the systematic macro space using futures.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in developing systematic trading models across FX and futures, as well as expertise in alpha idea generation, backtesting, and implementation. Additionally, they will assist in building and maintaining production and trading environments, evaluating new datasets for alpha potential, and improving existing strategies and portfolio optimization.

We are looking for a highly experienced individual with a strong background in quantitative trading, ideally in FX or futures, and a PhD in mathematics, statistics, physics, or other quantitative discipline. Experience with data exploration, dimension reduction, and feature engineering is also essential. Strong programming skills in Python are required.

Requirements:

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
