About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Nurse to join our team in the Maxillo Facial and Orthodontic Out Patients Department at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide chairside support to Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontist clinicians and other clinical staff working in the specialty.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring accurate patient records and effective communication with medical staff.
  • Train and support new staff members in clinical procedures and protocols.

Person Specification
  • Hold a recognized qualification in Dental Nursing, such as NEBDN National Certificate or S/NVQ Level 3 in Oral Healthcare.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and commitment to staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Proven clinical experience in dental nursing, with a focus on infection control and patient safety.
