**Job Summary**

2BM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading worldwide steel manufacturer and heavy engineering client on a permanent contract. **Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure all requirements of reactive and planned maintenance are met, including PPMs throughout the heavy engineering plant, to maximize availability, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Fault find on PLCs and electrical installation work as required, adhering to BS7671 Wiring Regulations 18th Edition.
  • Record all maintenance activity on the system and source spares and equipment to reduce production downtimes.
  • Coach, support, and assist with the training of apprentices.

**Requirements**

  • Hold a qualification in manufacturing maintenance, such as HNC, City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent.
  • Be skilled in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLCs, and CNC controlled machines.
