Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Performing regular Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks to identify and address potential issues
  • Conducting fault finding and troubleshooting on PLCs and other electrical systems
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed

Requirements:

  • Electrically qualified with NVQ Level 3 as a minimum
  • Experience with regular PPMs, breakdowns, and fault finding on PLCs
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
