Early Years Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school located near Formby. As a Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in providing a high-quality education to our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the class teacher to provide support and encouragement to children during lesson activities.
  • Support children with individual requirements and needs, and help to monitor their progression throughout each term.
  • Assist with the running of a classroom environment and deal with situations that require a calm and professional approach.
  • Work alongside a child with additional needs in a 1-to-1 support role.
Requirements:
  • Graduate status or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with children, teachers, and support staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
