We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Civilian Medical Practitioner to join our team at the Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) organisation.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and organised individual to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment, providing primary and occupational healthcare to our military population.
The successful postholder will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services, working closely with our team to ensure the needs of our patients are met.
Main Responsibilities- Providing general healthcare to all registered patients during normal practice hours.
- Maximising the levels of health, well-being, and employability of Service personnel.
- Undertaking mandatory medical examinations and providing appropriate occupational healthcare and advice.
- Supervising the management of communicable diseases, including monitoring and reporting.
- Registration with the UK General Medical Council (GMC) and on the General Practitioner (GP) Register.
- Proficiency in relevant Information Technology (IT) systems, subject to appropriate training.
- A competitive salary of £83,032 to £98,642 per annum (pro rata for part-time).
