Become a key member of our Housekeeping Team at Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care in a clean and safe environment.
About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our Housekeeping Team as a Night Shift Supervisor. As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations during the night shift, ensuring that all areas of the hospital are clean, pleasant, and safe for patients.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage the night housekeeping team to deliver a consistently high standard of cleaning service.
- Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard, adhering to infection prevention and control policies.
- Manage and maintain cleaning schedules, rotas, and stock levels to ensure continuity of service.
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure the department is organized and meeting business requirements.
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining training records and producing weekly rotas.
- Ensure that all areas of the hospital are clean, pleasant, and safe for patients, adhering to Nuffield Health's high standards.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Good IT skills and experience of working with cleaning schedules and rotas.
- Customer care training experience and a passion for delivering excellent patient care.
