Job Title: Accounts Payable Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Administrator to join our dynamic global finance team in Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to manage and improve accounts payable processes in a hybrid working environment.

About the Role
This role involves managing and improving accounts payable processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and be proficient in using financial systems and accounting software.

  • Prepare and execute weekly and ad hoc payment runs, ensuring compliance with deadlines and approval processes.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of supplier statements and resolve outstanding items.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with other finance team members to ensure a smooth month-end close.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Proven experience in an accounts payable or similar role.
  2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  3. Proficient in using financial systems and accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar).
