We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Facilities Support Specialist to join our team within North Lanarkshire Council. This role is based in one of our establishments, where you will provide a service that meets the needs of our customers and service users.

Main duties include:

  • Dealing with members of the public
  • Building control and security
  • Cleaning and minor maintenance

To succeed in this role, you will have experience working in a customer-focused environment and dealing with members of the public. Essential skills include good administrative, communication skills, and IT skills.

Experience of working in a facilities management environment, undertaking security checks, cleaning duties, and minor repairs and maintenance would be advantageous. You will also require membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to commencing in this role.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of £25-£26 per hour, pro-rata. As a North Lanarkshire Council employee, you will receive 27 days annual leave and 6 public holidays*, plus a wide range of benefits available to you.
