Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reception Supervisor to join our Communities Team at City, University of London Students' Union. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Welcome Desk (Reception) and providing exceptional customer service to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the reception, ensuring a visible and reliable service to students.
  • Provide excellent customer service, both in-person and via email.
  • Oversee the management of student staff and line manage the Student Communities Administrator.
  • Support the delivery of our retail offer, including shop displays, sales, and click and collect services.
  • Contribute to administrative tasks to create a thriving community for students.
Person Specification
  • Excellent working knowledge of customer service and administration.
  • Experience in overseeing a customer service function.
  • Strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, as well as sustainability.
  • Ability to work on site 5 days a week and adapt to shift patterns during term time.
