The Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team at EMG Motor Group. As a key member of our workshop, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our vehicles meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Complete scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Conduct diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues, providing expert advice and recommendations.
  • Perform electronic visual health checks (EVHC) on all vehicles, providing a comprehensive report with recommendations for customers.
  • Liaise directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service and building strong relationships.
  • Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high-quality manner, adhering to internal and manufacturer requirements.
  • Participate in on-going training and development to maintain up-to-date product and service knowledge.
  • Contribute to local and company-wide process improvements and innovations, driving continuous excellence.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable.

Requirements

  • Level 3 vehicle technician qualification.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
  • Desirable: manufacturer experience.

  • A strong customer service focus, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
