Vehicle Service Technician

The Role
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Service Technician to join our team at EMG Motor Group. As a key member of our workshop team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional vehicle service and repair solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
- Conduct diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve complex problems.
- Perform electronic visual health checks (EVHC) on all vehicles, providing comprehensive reports with expert advice and recommendations for customers.
- Liaise directly with customers and service advisors, delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high-quality manner, adhering to both internal and manufacturer requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain up-to-date product and service knowledge, driving continuous improvement.
- Contribute to local and company-wide process improvements and innovations, leveraging your technical expertise to enhance our operations.
- Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and development.
Required Skills and Experience
- Level 3 vehicle technician qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Hold a full UK driving license, essential for the role.
- Manufacturer experience is desirable, but not essential. We are open to candidates with transferable skills and a passion for the industry.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail, enabling you to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- A strong customer service focus, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Outstanding organization and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
