About the Role

Our client, Oculus Legal Group, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their Property and Commercial Litigation team in a dynamic and supportive environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a Chambers-ranked team that handles a diverse and engaging range of commercial and other disputes, including:

  • Commercial disputes
  • Contractual disputes
  • Shareholder and director disputes
  • Partnership disputes
  • Restraint of trade
  • Reputation management
  • Data protection and privacy
  • Insolvency
  • Debt recovery
  • Professional negligence
  • Education matters

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in a stimulating environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

The Commercial Litigation Solicitor will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality legal advice and client service
  • Managing a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters independently
  • Exhibiting a commercial approach to client matters and upholding the firm's values
  • Engaging in business development activities and attending legal training programs
  • Working proactively and flexibly, showing excellent attention to detail
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2-4 years of commercial litigation experience
  • Strong understanding of contract law and familiarity with Civil Procedure Rules
  • Experience with reputation management, data protection, privacy law, and using the High Court CE filing system is a plus
