About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot Supervisor to join our team at HB People Recruitment & HR Specialists. As a Depot Supervisor, you will be responsible for the preparation and onsite delivery of our traffic light installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of around ten people to ensure they are suitably prepared to arrive at client sites to complete installation works within programmed timescales.
  • Ensure our H&S procedures are followed to ensure the safety of our teams, clients, and the public.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve site operations and efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on site performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in supervising onsite works, preferably in a highways environment.
  • Ability to work at heights and possess a full driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • Travel and stay away from the UK may be required.
  • 80/20 split between site and depot work.
  • Basic electrical knowledge and knowledge of traffic signals theory (phases/stages/detection) are desirable.
  • Desirable qualifications include City and Guilds qualification or equivalent in highway installations, Sector 8 Accreditation, Health and Safety qualifications, and IT literacy.
