Role Summary:

Medinet is seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Operations Manager to oversee operations in a designated region. This pivotal role involves managing senior and clinical coordinators, ensuring efficient delivery of contracts and exceptional patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of insourcing services across multiple specialties, ensuring contract requirements are met and patient care is prioritised.
  • Directly manage a team of Senior Coordinators and Clinical Coordinators, providing leadership, guidance, and support for optimal performance.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for booking, contract delivery, and day-to-day operations within the region.
  • Monitor contract finances, ensuring budgets are adhered to and financial targets are met. Oversee agency staff and uplifts.
  • Collaborate with Customer Account Managers to ensure smooth contract execution, addressing operational issues and participating in trust calls as needed.
  • Lead new contract mobilisation, ensuring operational aspects are in place, including staffing, logistics, and reporting structures.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management, including financial, operational, and performance data. Analyze areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize service delivery.
  • Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including trust representatives, to ensure successful service delivery and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare operations management, preferably within insourcing or a similar environment.
  • Proven track record of managing teams across multiple specialties.
  • Experience in mobilising new contracts and managing contract performance.
  • Strong financial acumen with budget management, forecasting, and contract profitability.
  • Proven experience in healthcare or service operations, with a focus on managing contracts and mobilising new services.
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • People management experience, with leadership, motivation, and development of a team.
  • Knowledge and experience across multiple clinical specialties.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally as required.
  • Experience with workforce planning, including agency staff and uplift negotiations.
