About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Children's Occupational Therapy Service as a Therapy Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills in Occupational Therapy and work with children with complex physical and sensory disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist qualified therapists in assessment and review appointments
  • Support children and their families with strategies delegated by the occupational therapist
  • Help children achieve goals
  • Support children to undertake activities of daily living
  • Assist with group sessions such as 'Sensational Thinking'

Requirements
  • 2 years' experience of working with children and young people
  • A clean valid UK driving licence and car driver
  • Experience of working as a member of a team
  • Good general education to GCSE level or equivalent, including English and Maths at Grade 5
