Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Children's Occupational Therapy Service as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills in Occupational Therapy and work with children with complex physical and sensory disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist qualified therapists in assessment and review appointments
- Support children and their families with strategies delegated by the occupational therapist
- Help children achieve goals and develop skills
- Support children to undertake activities of daily living
- Assist with group sessions, such as 'Sensational Thinking'
- 2 years demonstrable, recent and relevant experience of working with children and young people
- Clean valid UK driving license / car driver
- Experience of working as a member of a team
- Good general education - to GCSE level or equivalent, including English and Maths at Grade 5
