About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Clinical Therapist in a specialist hospital setting based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

As a key member of our team, you will be working with adults and older age males who have severe and enduring mental health conditions, some of whom may also have undiagnosed memory-related illnesses.

To succeed in this role, you will hold a relevant qualification in Psychology and be registered with the HCPC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality treatments and interventions to promote the mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being of clients.
  • Respond promptly to referrals, conducting assessments and planning effective therapy programmes for assigned clients.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring activities and interventions meet client needs.
  • Lead and coordinate professional and clinical colleagues, providing psychotherapeutic advice and guidance.

The ideal candidate will possess Chartered Psychologist status and post-graduate qualifications. Previous experience in conducting research and project work is also beneficial.
